Toowoomba Choral Society Choir

From Madrigals to Modern, from Baroque to Broadway, TCS Choir is the original Adult/Senior choir of the Toowoomba Choral Society. One of the objectives of TCS Choir is to cultivate and advance the standard of choral music in Toowoomba, through annual competition in the Queensland Eisteddfod.  The Toowoomba Choral Society has been competing in the Queensland Eisteddfod since 1955, and will continue this longstanding tradition in 2016.

Apart from the annual Eisteddfod competition, TCS Choir is actively involved in the artistic life of Toowoomba. Presentations of large works including Handel’s “The Messiah” and Rutter’s “Requiem” in addition to regular concerts both in Toowoomba and further afield, have delighted audiences and have also provided opportunities for some outstanding soloists to demonstrate their talents.

The main goal for TCS Choir is to enable members of the community to experience a wide range of choral repertoire and performance opportunities. We aim for it to be an enjoyable experience whilst still maintaining a standard of musical excellence. Membership for TCS Choir is open to anyone 16 years and over.

Wednesday Nights 7:00pm to 9:30pm
